"Density". Seemingly idyllic Lake Audubon, in the planned community of Reston, VA, is located on the Snakeden Branch of Difficult Run and it is one of the most heavily impacted sections of Difficult Run, mostly due to population density and the high percentage of impervious surfaces surrounding this part of the watershed. The sky color and brightness is light pollution from the surrounding homes, businesses, highways, and distant airport.
