Sandstone and white quartz boulders from the Pottsville Conglomerate with black huckleberry (Gaylussacia baccata) in the foreground, Bear Rocks Preserve, Dolly Sods, West Virginia. The formation in the background is known informally as "The Dragon of Dolly Sods" and has been formed over the past 60,000 to 240,000 years by chemical and physical weathering processes.
